ES5 Director, Ken Anthony led the AIMS team of this multi-institutional project funded by the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and the Department of the Environment and Energy.
A joint effort between AIMS (Australian Institute of Marine Science), University of Queensland and the CSIRO, the project develops a spatial understanding of how climate change, land use and Crown-of-Thorns Starfish will drive coral cover under different future scenarios.
The project is developing a web-based user interface for GBRMPA to investigate what CoTS control strategy will be most effective in sustaining coral cover under different scenarios.
